The Best Amazon Desk Products I’ve Tried in 2026

I haven’t done one of these for a while. Which is a shame because this is genuinely my favourite type of video to make, and clearly your favourite to watch too. So here’s everything interesting that’s landed on my desk recently.

E-Ink Display

You might have seen this covered elsewhere, but I want to talk about it anyway because I think it’s genuinely great.

It’s an e-ink display that you can customise to show pretty much anything. Calendar. Weather. To-do list. Whatever you want. It connects to a huge plugin library, and if something doesn’t exist, you can just have Claude code up a custom plugin for you. It’s that flexible.

The battery lasts up to three months on a single charge. It charges via USB-C. The whole point of it is to show information that doesn’t need to refresh every second. Once you understand that, it just makes sense. I have mine showing the weather right by the front door so I know what to wear before I leave.

Khadas Mind 2

This is one of the craziest products I’ve ever tested. Genuinely.

It’s a full PC that fits in the palm of your hand. Smaller than a Mac Mini. The one I have packs an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 64 GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. There’s also an extra slot on the bottom if you want to add another SSD.

But here’s where it gets wild. There’s a connector on the side that lets you attach different accessories. There’s a dock that adds more ports, speakers, a volume knob, and a fingerprint reader. It just magnetically attaches on top.

Then there’s a portable display. Attach it and you basically have a laptop. Detach the keyboard and you have a tablet. The display is 2.8K at 60Hz and has its own built-in battery.

And then there’s the eGPU module. Dock the Mind 2 on top and you get a full RTX 5060Ti. Video work, animation, gaming. All from this tiny little computer.

So in one package, you have a mini PC, a tablet, a laptop, and a proper gaming setup. I’m still slightly in disbelief that this exists.

Bowers & Wilkins PX8 S2

These have become my favourite headphones. I’ve had them for a few months now and I can’t stop reaching for them over everything else.

I’ve been using AirPods Max for years. These beat them for me. They’re lighter by about 70-80 grams, and the materials are on a completely different level. The leather on the ear cups and headband is incredibly soft. Everything about them feels premium in a way that’s hard to explain until you hold them.

The noise cancellation isn’t quite as good as the AirPods Max, but it’s still more than good enough. I’ve used them on long haul flights and had zero issues.

Out of the box the sound is flat, and that’s intentional. They’re designed as reference grade headphones. I personally adjusted the EQ on the app to add a bit more bass. The bass on these is smooth. Not muddy at all. The mids and highs stay clean. The sound experience is genuinely elite.

Battery lasts 30 hours, which is 10 more than the AirPods Max. They fold flat and come with a carry case. There’s also an on/off switch, which sounds like a small thing, but I appreciate knowing they’re actually off.

They’re $799. Not cheap. But these are clearly made for people who want the best sound and the best materials. For what they are, I think it’s worth it.

Lofree Hyzen Keyboard

One of the most insane keyboards I’ve ever seen. Top five for sure. Maybe top three.

It’s made from a solid block of aluminium. It has magnetic switches. It weighs over 3 kilos. Just holding it feels ridiculous in the best way.

There’s a 10,000 mAh battery inside. You can connect via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz dongle, or USB. There’s a large customisable dial on the top corner, a light bar on the front that shines onto the desk, and a wrist rest specifically designed so the RGB strip shines through it.

It looks industrial. It also somehow looks like something straight out of Severance. It’s one of those products you just want to stare at.

Ulanzi Pixel Clock

This one is a pixel display. Big chunky pixels. I currently have it showing the time, but you can customise it to show pretty much anything. Text, animations, information. Totally programmable.

The reason I got it is practical. My studio is on the top floor of the house. When I’m recording or on a call and people are over, I need a way to let them know not to disturb me. So I programmed it so that when I turn on do not disturb on my phone, it automatically changes to show that I’m busy. Turn do not disturb off and it switches back. Simple.

Battery only lasts about 5 hours so I keep it plugged in via USB-C. There’s also an ambient light sensor so it adjusts brightness based on the room. It’s a nifty little thing and I use it every day.

8BitDo Ultimate 2 Controller

If you game on Mac, PC, iPad, Nintendo Switch, or basically anything, this controller is ridiculous value.

It has everything you’d expect from a standard controller, plus Hall effect triggers, extra buttons by the bumpers, and two paddles on the back. The sticks have RGB that reacts to button presses. It also comes with a dock that charges the controller and stores the wireless dongle inside it. That’s a smart design.

All of this for $60. That’s genuinely crazy.

Halo Ring Light

This is a round light that sits on a desk or shelf and reacts to audio. You can change the colour, the brightness, the animations. It looks smart and it draws a lot of attention whenever it’s on in the background of videos.

If you want something that looks interesting and adds a bit of life to a setup, this does it.

Govee Uplighter

I get so many questions about this one.

It’s three lights in one. There’s a light on top that shines onto the ceiling, a ring light in the middle, and a downlight. You can only have two running at once, which is a bit annoying, but not a dealbreaker.

The Govee app gives you a huge amount of control over it. Colours, animations, schedules, automation. I have it in my gaming room and it gives the space a really cosy vibe. I used to think this kind of light was gimmicky. I was wrong. It looks great.

Sotsu FlipAction Elite 16″

I nearly forgot to include this one and I’m glad I didn’t.

It’s a 16 inch 4K display, 3840×1200 resolution. It folds completely flat. It is incredibly thin. It looks like a mini Apple Studio Display. Honestly, if you didn’t know better, you’d think it was an Apple product.

The colours look almost identical to a MacBook Pro display. The colour temperature, the calibration — it all matches up. For a portable display, that’s impressive. There’s a mini HDMI port and two USB-C ports on the side, so you can power it separately if your laptop can’t provide enough juice.

It’s 60Hz so it’s not built for gaming. It’s built for productivity on the go, and for that it’s excellent. There’s nothing else quite like it at this size and quality.
